The Vandis Azure Virtual Desktop Quick Start is a turn-key, production-ready VDI solution that is scalable, secure, cost-effective, and easy to manage. Vandis engineers will utilize templated designs to deliver a basic reference architecture, which can be used as a Proof of Concept (POC) environment so that you can evaluate the capabilities of the platform. The components deployed with this offering are most common to Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) deployments. Vandis will work with you to customize, scale, and adopt AVD as your enterprise desktop and application delivery platform.

With our managed Azure Virtual Desktop solution, your environment will also receive better protection against exploits and malware thanks to a continuous threat service provided by FortiGuard Labs and the expertise of Vandis’ security team.

Scope of Work

• Verify all prerequisites.
• Verify Active Directory topology.
• Deploy Azure networking and secure the vNET appropriately.
• Deploy a pooled Windows 10 Enterprise Multi-session host pool with two hosts.
• The Azure portal default image (latest supported Windows version) will be used which contains Microsoft Office 365 applications.
• The user pilot group will be granted access to the workspace.
• Deploy an Azure log analytics workspace for user and computer monitoring.
• Deploy the Microsoft auto-scaling solution template to scale up and down the instances.
• Hands-on knowledge transfer including an as-built diagram.
• Follow up meeting to review customer experience to answer questions and address concerns with the Quick Start deployment.
• Onboard Customer into Vandis Managed Services Desk.
