Pricing Model

Couchbase Capella uses credits for pricing. Credits are calculated by Couchbase Capella, not the Marketplace. The rate at which credits are consumed is determined by a given cluster characteristics including deployed cloud region, compute node quantity, compute node specs (e.g. RAM, vCPU), storage volume size, and storage volume performance (e.g. IOPS). Data transfer charges are billed separately.

The price of a credit is determined by the service plan selected for a given cluster by the user during cluster creation. To estimate the cost and credits consumed per hour for a given cluster, create an account at cloud.couchbase.com and configure a cluster with the desired characteristics. Database charges will not be incurred until a configured cluster is created.
