Migration to Azure Cloud : 8 week assessment

As a Microsoft Gold Partner, we offer an eight-week Migration assessment with a detailed plan and cost analysis for migration of Data Center applications to Azure public cloud via ‘Rehost’, ‘Replatform’, Retire’ and ‘ReArchitect’ methodology.

Week 1 and 2: - Initial Engagement - We collect application and server details from the data center environment or application inventory. The information covers the following: -

1. Application server
2. OS
3. Database type and server
4. Application Criticality or Severity
5. Disaster Recovery (RTO, RPO)
6. High-Availability and Redundancy Requirements.
7. Cloud Readiness
8. Data Classification if any

Week 3: -

Foundational and Cross cutting services: - After collecting the data about the application landscape, we will start collecting the performance utilization data of these servers. We collect the dependency of servers and applications i.e., E2E application integration environment. E.g., Messaging platforms, Batch servers, Logging, Monitoring and other cross cutting services.

Week 4: - Network and Security: - We collect the network and security requirement for the applications. This includes encryption requirements, keys, secrets, network profile based on the application data classification.

Week 5 to week 8: - After collecting and analysing the data, we are ready to migrate datacenter applications from on premise to Azure. Moreover, we provide a report that what you can pick with what configuration on Azure to move your datacenter. We also create a Transition plan covering Hybrid architecture between on-premises and public cloud for certain dependent applications which cannot move immediately.

Deliverables • We will provide details architecture artefact covering the Target and Transition migration plan. • Offer a Dedicated delivery team to focus on the Cloud migration. All project RAIDS are tracked and discussed with Business sponsor. • Recommendations for infrastructure sizing in the cloud.
