Hitachi Accelerator for Azure Landing Zone

This Azure Landing Zone Accelerator is designed by Hitachi Digital Services, it is based on the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework. It is developed on cloud agnostic Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tool "Terraform". Best practices for naming, tagging, governance and security is being followed during implementation. The solution is customizable to certain extent (Security rules, names, IP Schema inclusion and exclusion of resources etc,).

The Accelerator provides the following benefits: -

• Speed: The version can be deployed in your environment as soon as 3 weeks of time including customization.
• Scalability : The solution serves global customer base and centralized control on application traffic.
• Security : Our Accelerator enforces Cloud security best practices from Microsoft and the market. It includes Standard Azure Firewall and Azure Firewall Policy with option to customize firewall rules. It also protects the networks from DDoS attacks and Private Connectivity.
• Governance: It promotes governance policies and frameworks.
• Cost Optimization: The solution is designed in cost optimized way, predictable and consistent cost for deployed solution over a period.

There are multiple options to this offer, the option can be selected based on the organizational requirements.

1. Foundation: - Foundation model (VNET based) is for those who are starting their cloud journey and keep the initial cost under check, but still want to align with Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework as much as possible.

2. Basic: - Basic model is extension of foundation model with enhanced security posture using Azure Firewall and central control over application traffic.

3. Standard: - Standard model is extension of basic and well aligned with Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework. Provides a way to upgrade to Enterprise Model without re-architecting/ re-designing and redeployment.

4. Enterprise: - Enterprise model is most advance model, suitable for organizations looking for water-tight security and private communications. This model follows best practices for deployment of Azure Platform Landing Zone.

5. Global Enterprise: - Global Enterprise model is based on VWAN. It creates multiple virtual hubs in different Azure Regions in full mesh network topology. It can have Azure Firewall, 3rd party security partner, VPN Gateway, and ExpressRoute connectivity
