Migration of VMware to Microsoft Azure Assessment

Convergent Computing (CCO) provides an assessment on existing VMware environments to assist organizations in preparing for their migration and support to a Microsoft Azure cloud environment. This assessment includes:

• Scanning of the existing VMware environment (up to 8 VMware clusters and/or 500 VMware virtual machines (whichever is larger)
• Analysis of the workloads to advise which workloads would likely be lift/shifted to the Microsoft Azure cloud
• Recommendations on which workloads might be migrated to a SaaS-based cloud services (ie: email, files, etc)
• Sizing / Costing of what running the balance of the workloads would cost to run in Microsoft Azure
• Cost estimate on professional services to hands-on assist in the migration process

The result of this assessment will be a document approximately 8-20 pages in length that will summarize the findings and provide details of the information bulleted above.
